E Delhi: The office of the Lieutenant Governor (LG) of Delhi has returned 47 files signed by the employees of the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) instead of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Sources gave this information on Saturday. The move by the LG office is likely to intensify the tussle between the two constitutional authorities in the national capital.
This incident happened with Lieutenant Governor V.K. This has come to the fore almost a week after Saxena wrote to Kejriwal. In which it was said that the CMO is sending the file without the signature of Chief Minister Kejriwal to the LG Secretariat for opinion and approval.

Sources in the LG office said that the various files returned by the Lt Governor’s Secretariat included files related to the education department and other departments, including the Waqf Board. Sources claimed that despite the issue being raised by the Lt Governor, the CMO continued to send the file without the Chief Minister’s signature.
