He said in a statement, “The Congress on August 5 launched an agitation against the anti-people policies of the Modi government, with which people associated themselves. The Prime Minister, out of desperation, tried to call it “black magic” which reflects this. That the BJP government has failed to check the skyrocketing inflation and unemployment. According to Ramesh, the Congress will intensify its fight against inflation and unemployment in the coming weeks.
He said, “The Congress will organize “Mahagai Choupal” at mandis, retail markets and many other places in all the assembly constituencies of the country from August 17 to August 23. It will culminate on August 28 at Ramlila Maidan with the rally “Drawing on Halla Bol”. Will be together. Senior Congress leaders will address this rally.” Congress sources say that former party president Rahul Gandhi will also address the rally at Ramlila Maidan.
Ramesh said that on the sidelines of this rally, the State Congress Committees will organize “Drawn Par Halla Bol – Chalo Dilli” program at the state, district and block levels. He claimed, “The people of India are bearing the brunt of the Modi government’s economic mismanagement. High taxes on essential goods like curd, buttermilk, packaged food items are causing inflation to rise, while the transfer of public assets to friendly capitalists is driving the inflation.” And due to steps like the directionless Agneepath scheme of recruitment in the army, the employment situation is going from bad to worse.”
“Congress will continue to spread awareness among people on these anti-people policies and will increase pressure on the BJP government to change its wrong policies,” he said.
